Voss takes the day, but Facciotti wins the war.
LONDON'S O2 arena played host this weekend to the final round of theFuture West/ ACU British Supercross Championship. The riders had a lotto live up to after some terrific racing on the previous weekend inLiverpool, however the final round not only matched it, but producedsome undeniably fantastic racing which kept the full house in the O2arena glued to their seats.
Colton Facciotti, current SX1 championship leader, was looking as smooth as ever throughout the qualifying heats, but with the introduction of Steven Clarke and ex USA Supercross champion Heath Voss, Facciotti would need to be on his game to retain the championship from the Kawasaki mounted Ulsterman Gordon Crockard. With only a 16-point deficit, Crockard was in determined mood to lift the SX1
championship and guided his 250KX two-stroke around the soft and rutty track to easily qualify for all the final heats.
