Its now all equal at the top of the SuperEnduro World Championship, where David Knight has matched Taddy Blazusiaks tally of two overall event wins.

Topping the fourth round of the series, in Guadalajara, Mexico, Knight now sits just 18 points behind Blazusiak in the championship standings with two rounds remaining.

The second and final round of the SuperEnduro series in South America, the Mexican event welcomed an 8,000 strong crowd, which witnessed three different race winners, and a new name on top of the Super Pole.

Jonny Walker enjoyed a faultless ride to post the fastest qualifying lap, ensuring the Brit got first pick of the start for the opening and third finals.

But it was Taddy Blazusiak who shot to the front in the night's opening final, and from the outside gate.

Close to missing the race due to last-minute gearing changes, once in the lead he remained ahead of Knight to claim the win.

Hounded by the Manxman the two were separated by just two seconds come the end of the race.

"I knew that starts would be super-important here in Mexico because the track was very one-lined,” said Taddy.

"I got a great start in the first final and stayed ahead of Knighter. It was tough as the track was one-lined. But I got the win, which was important.”

For Knighter second was a great start to the night, and despite the difficulties in passing it was clear that he had what was needed to win.

"It was a difficult track because there wasn't really a good second line anywhere,” said Knight.
