Lenoir serious crash at Lyng
By Team TMX on 7th Apr 14
Dantec Husqvarna MX2 rider Steven Lenoir suffered a serious arm injury during practice at the second round of the Maxxis British motocross championship held at Lyng on Sunday.
A crash caused Lenoir to hit the dirt, and whitnesses say that when he stood up his arm was torn open. Steven then hot-footed it back to the paddock where he was taken to hospital.
The picture attached was one that Steven posted on his Facebook page, along with an explanation of what happened.
TMX wishes Steven all the best in his recovery.
''Thank you to all for the posts and the support it is really fun, I was a little shot yesterday so let me explain I make a small slip by the front in a turn in the sand and there had to be a Flint or other. My arm like you've seen it is completely open and deeply. Muscle was also hit but by chance he would protect my tendons we hope all we will know after the operation. So I have to get operated on by a specialist to clean any sand on the one hand as well as "repair” my muscle and surgeons hope to close... Otherwise it will be some days of waiting and a skin graft... Fingers crossed. I was still pretty scared yesterday to field because I was "empty me”. I hope to be back soon and continue the good dynamics on which I was since the beginning of the season. Some people dared to tell me that I was playing on Photoshop I find it pathetic and my life and much more interesting than it... What humour! Finally in short I hope good news quickly has soon – Steven''
