Just one week after clinching his third AMCA British Motocross Championship title, Luke Burton (FUS FRO CPS Husqvarna) goes in search of another crown.

Burton will look to wrap up the IMBA MX1 European Championship in Meijel in Holland on Sunday and become the first British rider since Gary Evans in 1990 to be victorious in the big bike class.

The superb Burton heads to Holland with a 63-point advantage over Belgian Frederic Weigert.

The Brit has finished on the podium at all five rounds held so far in Denmark, France, GB, Germany and Belgium and a repeat performance on Sunday will comfortably clinch the title

Joining him on duty in the deep sand will be Ed Briscoe (Honda) who's currently in a fantastic fourth and Andrew Smart (MX ANSA TRM Honda) who sits eighth.

Briscoe - a rider who enjoys sand tracks - could even finish a great IMBA season off by claiming a medal position.

At present Ed is just 27 points behind Swiss rider Daniel Huser so will certainly fancy his chances of bagging that series bronze!

Good luck to the GB lads in this crucial final IMBA MX1 round.
