Beursfoon Suzuki rider Marc de Reuver has won the final round of the Dutch Open Championship Series at Harfsen.

De Reuver started the day with a second position in time practice. In the first moto he started around tenth position. It didn't take him long to move himself up into third position.

It wasn't long before he started to put pressure on the second place rider but it  did take some laps to get by him. The race leader took advantage of this, creating a gap over himself and de Reuver.

Marc stayed calm and picked up the pace in the second part of the race. He closed the gap but ran out of time to make a pass stick. He finally finished the race in second position.

In the second moto he made a poor start and at the end of the first lap he came by the start/finish in 13th position. During the race he worked himself up to second position but by the time he moved into second the leader was already gone.

Marc gave everything he had and in the closing stages of the race and found the rear wheel of the leader. With still one lap to go Marc was searching for a place to make a pass stick. With just two corners to go Marc passed the leader in the race and won the second moto. With a 2-1 moto score he took the overall win at Harfsen.
