By the time most of you read this item the British Motocross Grand Prix will be well into its stride at Matterley Basin, near Winchester.
On-track activities were sheduled to start at the four-day festival on Thursday with free and timed practice sessions for some of the supporting classes and even a couple of qualifying races for the Amateur class.
Things should heat up somewhat on Friday with more free and timed practice sessions with various qualifying, semi-finals and the Amateur Super-Final.
Come Saturday and things start to get really serious as the big guns get to play (practice) with two races each for the MX3 and Ladies classes and further practice and qualifing for the youth and MX1/ MX2 classes.
It will all come to a head on Sunday with finals for the various European Championship classes and two motos apiece for the big guns – the MX1 and MX2 classes, where Toni Cairoli could potentially wrap up another MX1 title.
