The second round of the ACU Maxxis British Championship at Langrish this weekend has just become even more exciting as KTM's MX1 GP rider Max Nagl will join the ranks of the MX1 class.

As the series heads for the beautiful Langrish circuit in Hampshire, Brad Anderson (MX1) and Shaun Simpson (MX2) will attempt to continue to dominate their respective classes. With Nagl now in the mix the action will be even more fraught as the regulars try to keep ahead of the new competition.

Both Anderson in MX1 and Simpson, contesting MX2, have slender leads and they will be doing their utmost to consolidate them. Current MX1 Champion, Billy MacKenzie on the CAS Honda, had a difficult time at the opening round and is going to have to play catch up at Langrish in an attempt to get his title hopes back on track. If Simpson continues to dominate at Langrish as he did at Canada Heights two weeks ago, Neville Bradshaw and Stephen Sword will be hard pushed to catch him.

Surfers on the www.mxgb.co.uk site who have taken advantage of the free registration, can now view a short preview of the event with a single click.

The action starts at 9.10am with the MXY2 (Youth) qualifying which is followed by MX2 and MX1 ahead of the autograph session at 11.40am. The first race is scheduled for 12.15pm with non stop action through to 5.30pm. Admission cost is £20 for adults, £5 for children with concessions available. Car parking is free.
