Maxxis: Drumclog cancelled

Following a site inspection recently, ACU Events have announced that due to several reasons, the seventh round of the Maxxis ACU British Championship, due to be held at Drumclog in Scotland, will not take place.
The ACU Events have very high standards for each event and with the promoter of the event not having fulfilled requirements set out at the end of last year – mainly with regard to Paddock parking and spectator arrangements, the decision was made cancell the event.
ACU Events do however state that their will be a seventh round, held on August 10, and a potential circuit has been identified. Final details will be released in due course
Series Manager, Brian Higgins commented, "Whilst the landowner at Drumclog was willing for the event to take place the timescale of the lead up to the event for the required work to be completed we were not confident that the required standards would be met.
