The 2015 EnduroCross series has made a stop in Austin, Texas to showcase the sport at the 2015 X Games, where Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racings Mike Brown brought home a gold medal.

Starting the day out alongside fellow Husqvarna rider, Colton Haaker, Brown registered the fastest times of the day but crashed once during his heat to finish in third.  Haaker took the holeshot in his heat and rode his FC 350 to the finish in first.

Both riders transferred to the main, but the competition was held up for about 10 minutes of rain that slickened up the track. Brown started out behind the leader, Cody Webb, but made a pass midway through the race into first position. He then put in a great ride on his FC 350 for the remainder of the 12-lap main event to take the victory and the X Games Gold Medal.

Haaker started out mid pack and was pushed off the track as riders fought for good positions. He rejoined the race near the back of the pack but managed to work his way up towards the leaders. In the heat of the battle he did encounter some difficulties and went down several times. Each time he quickly got back into the action to go on to finish in an admirable fourth position.

"Today couldn't have gone much better.  It feels great to win and I'm absolutely overwhelmed. My bike ran great, the weather was nice and I have a great team and family behind me. I'm loving this shiny gold medal!” exclaimed an ecstatic Brown.

Sandra Gomez made the journey from Spain to ride her Husqvarna in the Women's Enduro X class and finished in seventh.
