Motocross track owner fined

The owner of the motocross track at Dodmoor Grounds Farm in Northamptonshire has been fined after he breached a noise abatement notice.
Charles Summers was restricted to one event a month but in October 2015 he held two and last week at Northampton Magistrates Court he was fined £200 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge and costs of £100.
Daventry District Council had served the notice on Mr Summers following complaints from neighbours about noise.
Mr Summers told the court he organised the second event after one earlier in the month was abandoned within the first hour after an accident.
