The MRA championship moves to the fast, spectacular Tandragee Motocross Park near Laurelvale for round three this Saturday (June 18).

In the Norman Watt Motorcycles Premier MX1 class, John Meara (TMC Watt Kawasaki) is the surprise leader on 122 points, just two ahead of multi-time Irish and Ulster champion Wayne Garrett (GMP/ CCR/ Watt/ Spratt Electrics KTM).

Garrett is on the comeback trail after a serious arm injury forced a short retirement and his new conservative approach seems to be paying off.

Only a point behind Garrett is Robert Hamilton (Risk Racing/ GOMX Yamaha).

The reigning Ulster champion suffered a shoulder injury at last month's Irish championship round at Desertmartin but should be fighting fit for Tandragee.

Next in the standings is Irish champ Richard Bird (Five5motorsport Watt KTM) who lost ground in the title chase when he had a DNF at Seaforde.

The nuttravel.com Premier MX2 class is currently led by Jason Meara (Motul/ Watt KTM) by four points from Bird who is doubling up this season.

Jason's big brother John is also racing both classes and sits third, 11 points behind Bird and 13 ahead of James Mackrel (Risk Racing Yamaha).

In the Semi Expert MX1 class it's Paul Atkinson (Ulster Shredders Husqvarna) who leads by 18 points from Ryan Esler (KTM) with reigning Clubman champ David Martin (JSW Electrics KTM) an impressive third a further six points adrift.

Karl Thompson (Risk Racing/ GOMX Yamaha) has a comfortable 27-point lead in the Semi Expert MX2 class. Cailum Meara (Kawasaki) is second with Kris Rea (Yamaha) third.

Clubman MX1 is led by English-based Jordan Allingham (EHA Honda) who's 20 points clear of Ciaran Boyle (Yamaha) with ex-road racer Denver Robb (KTM) in third.

The Clubman MX2 class was led by Alan Saunders (Pallet Centre KTM) but he's now a point behind Nathan Hamilton (Yamaha). Johnny Presho (Honda) is 16 points behind these two in third.

Racing starts at 11am. The track will be signposted off the Mahon road between Portadown and Tandragee. Postcode is BT62 2LS.
