MX Nationals

Astonishingly, Graeme Irwin will not only contest the MX1 races at the third MX Nationals round this weekend (Whitby), he will also take Ryo Satos place on the 250F in MX2.

In what can only be described as an Ironman style challenge, Graeme will finish a race on one bike and hop onto another with no rest. Each race is 25 minutes + 2 laps, which means that Graeme will be doing back to back thirty minute motos all weekend.

Neil Prince has given the go ahead for this unique challenge; he must have a lot of belief in the Irish youngster's strength and stamina, as this will really be put to the test. Rarely do we see a rider complete both premier classes, so it is certainly a big talking point heading into the weekend.

If you want to see how Graeme Irwin fares, head down to Whitby this weekend, and watch the best riders in the country battle their way around the spectacular circuit.

Graeme Irwin: "The team has an awesome 250F, and gave me the opportunity to ride both classes. So, I thought it would be good to get out there with those guys. There is three races at a British Championship round, so with the two races Saturday and four on Sunday, I don't see why I wouldn't be able to be competitive in both classes!”
