MXGP of China returns for 2024

The FIM and Infront Moto Racing have announced that the MXGP of China will return to the calendar of the 2024 FIM Motocross World Championship. The series last visited the Shanghai circuit at the end of the 2019 series with Red Bull KTM's dominant duo Jeffrey Herlings and Jorge Prado taking the MXGP and MX2 class wins.
September 15/16 are the chosen dates for the 2024 event which means it will host the penultimate round of the series ahead of the decider which will run at a yet to be announced venue in Italy.
