Jordi Tixier named as Team France 2019 MXoN fill-in rider
By Team TMX on 26th Aug 19
Jordi Tixier has been named by Team France as the fill-in rider in the Open class for this year's Motocross of Nations in Assen.
It's the second consecutive year that Jordi Tixier has deputised for the injured Romain Febvre, successfully stepping into his boots for the RedBud event last year.
Febvre crashed during the second race at the MXGP of Sweden on Sunday and has been operated on after sustaining a broken femur.
Tixier's MXoN team-mates for 2019 are Gautier Paulin (MXGP) and Tom Vialle (MX2), who tasted his first overall GP victory in Uddevalla.
