Team HRC MXGP are off to the USA this weekend for round 17, as the season heads into the final trio of races.
Hot off the back of his win at the MXGP of Sweden and a big fan of American tracks, Gajser will be looking to maintain his goal of finishing the season on a high. Bobryshev, also a big fan of racing in the US, will be looking to better his tenth place standing in the world championship.
WW motocross park, Jacksonville is a new track on the MXGP calendar this year. The track has only been open since 2013 but is rated the number one motocross track in Florida.
MXGP qualifying starts at 16h10 on Saturday September 2.
Tim Gajser: "From what I have seen from some videos and photos, the new track in Jacksonville looks really nice. The ground looks really grippy which is perfect.
We know that in America they make some awesome tracks and the organisation is going to be on the top level, so I expect there will be some really good racing there. I am going to try and carry the momentum from my win in Sweden into America.
I have been working hard during the break, I had the Slovenian championship this weekend also so now I am just really excited for it."
Evgeny Bobryshev: "The US is always a nice place to come back too, especially this new track. I have seen videos and it looks really good, a really fast track so I am excited to get out there and see what I can do in this race. There is always a good atmosphere in the US and it is a good place to be. The only thing we have to deal with out there differently is the heat, it is always really hot there but I am just going to go out and enjoy my racing."
