NORA-MX give it back
By Andy Foulkes on 13th Jul 12
Two of the UKs top moto-cross tracks are up next for NORA-MX and the quad club has put together some excellent money-off offers to tempt new and returning riders to enter
Round seven of the club's ACU Southern Quad Championship will be held this Sunday, July 15, at Culham (OX14 3DA), with the series then moving to the spectacular Pontrilas circuit (HR2 OBF)www.pontrilasmxtrack.co.uk a week later (July 22).
New riders to the club qualify for an introductory all-inclusive entry of just £40 for adults and £25 for youth riders.
For that riders get race entry, (three races, plus practice), an ACU day licence, day club membership, plus free use of a transponder for the day.
To qualify riders must be completely new to the club, or not have not competed at a NORA-MX event in 2010/11/12.
So, all you riders with quads sitting idle under dust sheets, why not get out there again and have some fun?
As an added incentive, any existing club rider who introduces a new rider to the club at these meetings will get a free race entry at a future meeting, if the new rider also returns with them.
Both venues are superb natural hillside tracks that are used for all the major solo national championships, and at Culham NORA-MX will be using the famous original circuit (which it used at round one), but run in reverse.
In addition to racing, riders attending also get to watch the new ACU British Side X Side Championship which is run by NORA-MX. Up to 25 of the ATV derived machines are expected.
Entry forms for both events can be downloaded at www.nora-mx.co.uk and if you have any queries call Chris Murphy on 07860-668434. Check the club website for regular updates www.nora-mx.co.uk where you can also enter events using the ACU's secure online entry system.
