Normandale marches on

AS the 2015 British trials season prepares to burst into action there is certainly no shortage of National ACU trials series for riders to get involved in.
A quick glance at the ACU Championship website reveals no fewer than four Adult series – RT Keedwell British Champs, S3 Parts Clubman, Sammy Miller (British, Pre-65 & Twinshock) and Normandale Traditional. On top of these there are also Ladies and Girls, Youth, Sidecar and Trailbike series - so plenty of choice.
The Normandale has proved to be a popular series over the last few years with organisers and riders alike catering for a wide variety of classes.
There's Open age groups for Pre-65, Twin-shock and Air-cooled mono machines plus Over 40, 50 and 60 Age group classes riding modern machines.
All compete over traditional style courses. The ACU regs describe these as of a simple loop type comprising no more than two laps including a total mileage of 15 to 20 miles – i.e. of traditional style rather than short multi lap club type events.
