The Adult Intermediate group saw a great ride from Declan Ryan take him to the top step of the podium. James Milne was close behind in second while Jake Naisbitt took third position.

Jamie Williams took top honours in the Adult Novice class with 1-1-2 result on the day while twin brothers Aaron and Ryan Whitfield took second and third positions.

The Vets Over 40 class was stacked and produced some great action between the top five riders. Brian Somerville led them out of the first turn with an explosive start but it would be Brian Alexander, Scott Murray and Michael Graham would push through to fill the podium.

It was Ryan Waggott who would dominate the Youth Open class with three wins to take the overall. Hayden Moody found his feet on a first-time ride on a 250F to take second followed by Sebby Moore in third.

Local lad Hayden Statt topped the Big Wheel 85 class with a 3-1-1 scorecard to take the overall for the day. Just three points back in second place was the talented Joel Winstanley-Dawson and another talented local rider, Andrew Piggford, took the final step on the podium.

We had some great action in the Small Wheel 85 class too. Arthur Moore took the honours with a maximum scorecard while Archie Butterfield held onto second place just two points ahead of Harry Hall in third.

In the 65 class, it was Alfie Cotter who led the way taking first overall. Riley Rogers managed to do enough to hold off Katie Beecroft for second with an amazing ride by Katie to take third.

Ellik Miller took the Auto class victory in races one and two but had an issue resulting in a DNF for the final race. Marco Reynolds took the overall on the day with 2-2-1 results, Ellik still managed to finish in second overall while Sam Cody Ratcliffe secured third.

Moving on to day two and with a buzz in the air from yesterday’s success, round two of the championship got underway,

The 85s took to the track first and put on a great early show for the crowd.

In the Big Wheel class, Joel Winstanley-Dawson shone through taking three wins and securing the overall. Jaxon Haswell put in a great performance to take second while Andrew Piggford put in another great ride to take another podium in third place.

The Small Wheel class top three mirrored round one - Arthur Moore taking the top step of the podium, Archie Butterfield securing second and Harry Hall placing third.

Cohen Jagielski made it three wins from three starts in the 65cc class for first overall. Riley Rogers landed another second place and Alfie Cotter managed to secure third overall by a slender two points ahead of Isaac Arnold. Another great result for Katie Beecroft saw her finish fifth overall.

Ellik Miller redeemed himself with three wins to secure the overall in the Auto class after his first-round DNF. He was followed home by round one winner Marco Reynolds and another great ride for Sam Cody Ratcliffe placed him third.

Youth Open saw Hayden Moody take command with three great starts leading to three wins and the overall for the day. Lewis Proud took second place with Rhys Whyment finishing in third.

The Vets Over 40 class delivered more great racing with the entire top five going at it. Scott Murray came away with the overall win thanks to a 1-1-2 scorecard with Michael Graham finishing second and Brian Alexander in third.

In the Novice group, the Whitfield Brothers took an early lead, but it was Shayne Parker who managed to push through to take all three wins and first overall for the day. Ryan Whitfield held off Aaron for second as the twins finished second and third once more.

Jake Naisbitt took Intermediate class honours followed by Jack Hunter in second place. Three great rides from Samual Carruthers saw him hit the podium in third place.

The opening Expert race saw the battle of the Hutchinsons. Daniel and James went at it from the start but a mistake by Daniel two laps in put an end to his efforts. James would go on to take the overall win on the day with John Joe Wright finishing second overall with a great performance from Patrick Jackson securing him third place.

Northern Elite MXC heads to Dean Moor on June 8/9 for rounds three and four. Bookings will open on Go Race MX soon.
