Papenmeier ready to add drama in the WMX series

FUNCHAL (PORTUGAL), 4 August 2010 The FIM Women's Motocross World Championship comes back to action after the summer break to celebrate the penultimate round of the Championship to be held in the Czech Republic in Loket this weekend. Larissa Papenmeier won her home round in Teutschenthal and moved from fifth to third in the standings of the Championship and wants to repeat her performance in the Czech track to add more drama to the series.

The current leader Stephanie Laier of Germany has an advantage of 40 points overthe runner up Livia Lancelot, which means that the results of this weekend willbe crucial for the ending of the Championship. 

The riders arrive inLoket on an equal footing as it is the first time that the FIM Women's MotocrossWorld Championship goes to the Czech Republic to dispute one round of theseries. Last year it was Uddevalla in Sweden the venue that hosted the sixthround of the Championship, where Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Laier was firstoverall, followed by Diga KTM's Maria Franke and third was HM Plant Red Bull KTMUK's Kane. 

Teka Suzuki Europe World MX2's Papenmeier travels to theCzech Republic after winning her maiden round in her home track in Teutschenthalwilling to reduce the difference with her rivals in the hard pack of Loket. TheGerman is third in the Championship 54 points behind the leader and only 6points from second classified Lancelot. 

The Italian Chiara Fontanesi,who was second overall in the German round and is fourth in the Championship,proved that she is in the best moment of her professional career after beingable to ride with the front riders and even winning a couple of heats in Franceand in Germany.

KTM HDI MX's Lancelot finished third in Germany and hopesto do a good performance in the Czech Republic in order to add drama to theChampionship and fight until the last moment to show why she was the 2008 WorldChampion. 

Current leader of the series Laier of Red Bull KTM FactoryRacing , who was out of the podium in her home round in Germany, is determinedto reinforce her leadership in Loket and regain the World Title in the lastround of the Championship in Fermo, Italy.
