Britains top three on-form beach racers head to France to take on Europes best at round two of the prestigious French Sand Championship this Saturday.

Carl Bunce, (Margate winner pictured right), Sheldon Seal, (Weston winner), and Bailey Edwards, (Skegness winner), head a seven-strong British contingent at Loon Plage near Dunkirk, including Ant Barrett, Laurence Stopps, Marco Zaffino and Liam Garbett.

The six-round winter series is now the biggest in Europe, with 170 quads competing this weekend in an entry headed by Jeremie Warnia.

Each event also features a star-studded solo event on the Sunday and the series culminates at Le Touquet on the last weekend of January.

Both Seal and Edwards plan to ride in the remaining five rounds of the championship and have taken out French Federation licences so that they are eligible to score championship points.

Seal particularly is hoping for a good result after finishing third at a warm-up event at the same venue last month.
