Loughborough based motorcycle dealer Redline Motorcycles, one of the countries leading KTM dealers, has recently taken on both the Honda and Yamaha Off Road dealerships to compliment the KTM business.
To publicise their involvement with both Honda and Yamaha, Redline Motorcycles have launched a new team and chosen the AMCA Championships to compete in.
Following a successful first season of the British Womens Motocross Championship, Redline were so impressed with the effort and development that Vicky Marriott has put in they were keen to help make it an even bigger success for 2018.
A two girl team has been put together to go for both the BWMA/AMCA British Womens Motocross Championship and also help Great Britain with the team and individual IMBA Ladies Championship. Vicky will be racing the Yamaha YZF250 and joining her is Chelsea Gowland racing the all-new Honda CRF250.
Chelsea was leading last years Ladies Championship and at the British round of the IMBA at Lower Drayton but broke her ankle while in second place chasing down Steffi Laire, still finishing third overall, the highest Brit girl at the time.
Fully recovered and with a strong Redline team behind her and supported by the BWMAs 382 Racer Development Program, Chelsea will be one of the favourites for both titles.
In addition to the BWMA Team, Redline are also supporting Brian Staples of the Shepshed Club on the new Honda CRF450. He will be competing in the AMCA Vets Championship, hoping to retain his Over 50s title from 2017 and improve on his fifth place in the combined Vets standings.
Tim Walker of Redline Motorcycles said This is going to be an exciting season for Redline and the teams will be doing their best for Championship successful. We are really pleased to be associated with great athletes and great championships.
