Remi Bizouard wins in a spectacular final the Suzuki NIGHT of the JUMPs in Berlin ahead of Andr Villa

Berlin, 05th April 2008: On saturday evening the entire elite in FreestyleMotocross met a the Suzuki NIGHT of the JUMPs in Berlin. 8.000 people celebratedthe 14 FMX-riders out of 8 nations in the Max-Schmeling Arena for the firstGerman IFMXF contest 2008. And the field of riders was the best ever to start onGerman ground, e.g. Dubai X Games winner Greg Hartman (USA), Jack Rowe (USA),the leader of the FIM Freestyle MX World Championship André Villa (NOR), X Gamescontender Remi Bizouard (FRA), two times Vice World Champion Libor Podmol (CZE)and Fredrik Johansson (SWE).

Under this huge number of Worldclass athletes the riders had to give theirbest already in the qualifying. Suzuki Teamrider André Villa did it bestfollowed by Romain Izzo, Jack Rowe, Remi Bizouard, Greg Hartman and Lukas Weisinto the final.

Berlin local hero Freddy Peters did not made it into the final. But he showedhis first longdistance flips, one as Heelclicker, so the crowd celebrated him.

After the qualifying the crowd saw the ADAC FahrsicherheitszentrumBerlin/Brandenburg Whip- and the Snow Funpark Wittenburg Highest Air-Contest.Best "Whipper" was German Lukas Weis, who also won the Snow Funpark Wittenburgstep up with 8,0 meters. Within the break Berlin saw an IFMXF premiere with theMVS Zeppelin caterpillar Freestyle Show.

In the final German Lukas Weis did a good run beating X Games winner GregHartman. Hartman did his Indy and the Switchblade flip, but failed a trick andgot only 6th position.  2nd US-boy Jack Rowe pushed with Cordova 1-HandSeatgrab, Cordova and Superman Flip but today it was not enough. He ended up4th.

Todays playground was set for both French riders Remi Bizouard and RomainIzzo as well for André Villa from Norway. Romain did a Superman Seatgrab Flip inthe Double-up, Remi his Ruler Flip from X Games 2007. And this only 2 weeks backon his bike after his shoulder surgery! Villa made a huge Underflip and his newSwitchblade flip. Finally only three points separated the riders. Bizouard wonahead of Villa and Izzo got 3rd.

On sunday  the riders meet again for the 2nd round of the Suzuki NIGHT of theJUMPs in Berlin.
