Saving the best for last...

Motocross

THE best was certainly saved until the sixth and final round of the IMBA 125cc European Motocross championship, as the Swiss SAM federation served up an absolute cracker of a meeting at Amriswil on Sunday. Played out in front of a simply massive crowd which would be the envy of any motocross promoter back in England, as expected Czech Republic star, Michal Votroubek, did enough to earn the 2007 crown.

Once again though, the lads representing the AMCA did their country proud with a stirring performance...

Despite a moto two crash, Brad O'Leary (Foto-X AMSKTM) finished his IMBA season with a great second overall. Phil Mercer(Delkevic Kawasaki) took fifth overall enough to earn him a richlydeserved runners-up spot in the series. Scott Mathia (Wulfsport KTM)was seventh, James Lane (Honda Equipe) 14th and brave flu victim LeeDunham 21st.
