Dirt Bike Show launch
LAST call for The Dirt Bike Show boys and girls and there's still plenty of time to get yourselves along to Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire for what will definitely be the best show for years.
There are more new bikes to feast your eyes on than ever before including the genuinely exciting, radical, BMW G450X enduro. And don't miss the equally new and jaw-dropping Gas Gas side-valve four-stroke trials bike!
In fact it is trials fans who should benefit most this year as ALL the manufacturers will be on hand in the new Trials Village feature. You can check-out all the 2008 hardware from the Sherco, Gas Gas, Beta, Montesa and Scorpa - and the French manufacturer hopes to have the ground-breaking 250 T-ride making its British debut, so fingers crossed.
Of course, there will be plenty of MXers on centre stage from all manufacturers including the efi equipped Suzuki RM-Z450, KTM's giant-killing 144 and the 2008 Honda CRF450X with its HPSD steering damper. It is all about the bikes
But there's more, including lots to entertain you on the DBR Live Stage where you can bag a seat, a drink and watch the off-road fashion shows, interviews and all-action competitions for you to get involved in.
Then you can take in the Live Arena to be wowed by some madcap Minibike mayhem featuring MX's own Carl Nunn and MTB hero Steve Peat. Steve Colley will then unveil his latest stunt show featuring an all-new, purpose-built stunt rig and of course ending with his incredible one-wheel bike act!
Then there's a unique display of ex British MX Champions' bikes including Jeff Smith's BSA and Graham Noyce and Dave Thorpe's Hondas!
And before you go home, as well as checking out all the very latest 2008 riding gear from all the big-name manufacturers in the Show halls, you will have bagged yourself some winter or Christmas bargains in the Retail Zone. Be prepared to join in the Christmas Sales, so sharpen-up those elbows.
This is the eighth Dirt Bike Show to be staged at Stoneleigh which is a pretty central location.
With no fewer than 17 bike and quad manufacturers, a massive 118 display stands and a fantastic 45 retail specialists present, there really is something for everyone at The Dirt Bike Show 2007 – open Thursday to Sunday.
