THE 2013 International Dirt Bike Show at Stoneleigh proved to be a huge success, with attendance up a useful 6 per cent and a total four-day crowd figure of 21,200.The Show got off to a flying start with half-price Thursday and maintained momentum throughout Friday and the weekend.

The expanded Dirt Bike Show featured non-stop displays in the LIve Action Arena, visits and stage interviews with dozens of the sport's big names, displays from all the major bike manufacturers,

and a very busy retail hall where you could buy anything from a valve cap or a complete titanium exhaust, to clothing, helmets, boots, knee-braces...you name it, you could get your hands on it!

A quick sample of riders includes World MX2 champ Jeffrey Herlings, MX1 ace Clement Desalle, triple British champ Kristian Whatley, Tommy Searle, Elliott Banks-Browne, Max Anstie, Lee Dunham, trials aces Dougie Lampkin, James Dabill

and Michael Brown and many, many more who popped up on show stands, on stage to talk to Jack Mr Showbiz Burnicle and wandered around meeting the fans,

having photos taken and signing anything and everything thrust in front of them.

The surprise signing had to be Britain's newest MX1 GP winner Shaun Simpson, who rocked-up on the KTM stand on Friday to ink-in a deal with Roger

McGee's HM Plant, Red Bull KTM UK squad (see this weeks Motocross Diary in the paper for the full story on this).

If you didn't get along to savour the DBS atmosphere here's our very own picture feature to bring The 2013 International Dirt Bike Show to you!
