Simpson and Anstie ace Foxhill
By Team TMX on 19th Jul 15
Hitachi Construction Machinery Revo KTMs Shaun Simpson and Monster Energy DRT Kawasakis Max Anstie proved they are top dogs in their respective classes.
They both took three moto wins each at round six which took place at Foxhill today.
Simpson stretched his unbeaten run in the 2015 Maxxis British Championship to a phenomenal six rounds. SS24's run of dominance is getting tiresome for his rivals in the UK but a perfect title defence this term is within reach of a satisfying conclusion with the Scot 118 points ahead of his nearest rival in the standings with just two events to go.
Admitting that he didn't like the rock hard circuit at Foxhill, Dyer and Butler KTM's Steven Lenoir kept in touch with Anstie by taking the second step on the podium with 3–3–2 results.
With two rounds and six motos remaining Lenoir trails the MX2 GP superstar by 23 championship points.
After a strong start to the day, Wilvo Forkrent KTM's Adam Sterry took third overall with 2–4–4 results, which will keep him in touch with current third place man, Hitachi KTM's Ben Watson
(4–5–3).
