ROUND four of the 2010 British Supermoto Championship saw yet another rider thrown into the limelight as the ever improving Chris Hodgson, on a very rapid 450 KTM, won five out of his six races at the excellent Three Sisters Raceway, just outside Wigan, while top point scorers from previous rounds struggled with injury.
Matt Winstanley had had a massive crash at a round of the world championship injuring his back, which caused him to miss round three, and in his own estimation, losing any chance of being this years British Champion.
At the weekend he claimed he was back to full fitness, but didn't look his old fast self. Meanwhile, Craig Venske was doing what he could with a broken ankle that was in a removable cast and supported by crutches when not stuffed in a racing boot.
