Sprint to FatCat for Dirt 3-2-1...

THIS year's inaugural British Enduro Sprint Championship proved to be a great success with hundreds of riders trying out this new and exciting form of off-road racing for the very first time.
With the series now over until next year riders who wished they'd given it a go or indeed racers who are already missing this awesome new championship are reminded that a very similar style of event will be kicking off proceedings at this summer's number one off-road festival – Dirt 3-2-1.
Taking place over the weekend of July 31/ August 1, Dirt 3-2-1 brings together four fantastic off-road racing disciplines to FatCat Moto Parc in South Yorkshire with Sprint Enduro being one of them.
Following a very similar format to the BESC series, the Dirt 3-2-1 Sprint Enduro will take place over a challenging course that features a mixture of natural and man-made hazards including some wicked woodlands, the ‘Dirt Mountain', a punishing set of sand whoops and a skittering of lethal logs and testing tyres.
With Pro/ Expert and Clubman classes available the race action on this timed special-test circuit should be immense as riders battle it out for cash, trophies and those elusive ‘King of Dirt' points that count towards the really BIG prizes!
Entries are now open for all disciplines of racing at Dirt 3-2-1 – Sprint Enduro, Endurocross, Motocross and Supercross – with regs and entry forms now available to download from the official event website:
www.dirt321.co.uk
For riders who can't get online, entry packs are also available from the event secretary Claire Tye who can be reached by telephone on 01865-343666 during normal office hours.
Any potential Dirt 3-2-1 Sprint Enduro racers who fancy getting in some sneaky training at FatCat Moto Parc prior to this big event will want to know that a Hare and Hound practice day will be held there on Saturday, July 17. The training day will utilise the full FatCat Sprint Enduro circuit that has been especially re-routed, rebuilt and lengthened just in time for Dirt 3-2-1.
For more details on this practice day call Eurotek KTM's Mark Jackson on 01765-608209 or FatCat head honcho, Martin Craven, on 07990-514509 or check out his brand-new website – www.fatcatmoto-parc.co.uk
