After a six-week break the St Blazey MX Premier Motocross Championship returns for round four this Sunday (June 4) at the popular Grittenham Parc near Royal Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire.

It's Dan Thornhill who heads the St Blazey MX Expert Championship by 35 points from Tommy Alba with Jamie Skuse – who will have plenty of local support on home soil – in third just eight points adrift of Alba.

Alba, unfortunately, will be a non-starter on Sunday after badly breaking his wrist but other riders lining up include EMX250 front-runner Todd Kellett, Loukas Maggio, Josh Gilbert, Kelvin Townsend, Jordan Carter, James Kensington and Corey Hockey.

In the RC Motorhomes Two-stroke MX1 class it's reigning champion Leighton Holmes who now leads by nine points from Ben Milward with Gareth Northam in third. Some good racing is pretty much guaranteed by the inclusion of early championship leader Ty Kellett along with Ben Griffiths, Fraser Gardiner, Tristan Rowe, Ricky Brown and Leigh Williams.

In the RC Motorhomes Two-stroke MX2 class it's Gary Roper who heads the standings from youngster Tom Darlow who sits just nine points adrift in second.

The MD Racing Over age classes as usual are pretty much full and are sure to produce some excellent racing.

Wayne Shimell in the Over 35 championship goes into round four with a 23-point lead over Darren Banwell who is still pressing hard and Over 40 defending champion Stuart Rawlings has a 15-point advantage over Leigh Williams. The Over 45 class is led by Richard Green with maximum points after the first three rounds while Steve Elford has a 36-point lead in the Over 50s over Rob Lewis with Alan Packer not too far back in third.

The JCT Developments Junior Championship has produced some of the best racing so far this season with Jake Curtis-Stevens leading with maximum points from Jordan Barrs with Jamie Dixon and Ross Kersey tied on points in third.

Grittenham is a fast-flowing track with easy access and parking and will be signposted off J16 of the M4. Postcode is SN15 4JW. The action gets under way at 10.30am.
