Big names sign for Odyssey SX HOW'S THIS for a confirmed entry list - Mickael Pichon, Mike Brown, Michael Brandes, Eric Sorby, Gordon Crockard and Andrew McFarlane? Add to it Jamie Dobb, Brian Jorgensen, Tanel Leok, Billy MacKenzie, Pascal Lauret, Carl Nunn, Stuart Flockhart, James Noble and even Kurt Nicoll and the scene is set for quite possibly the biggest two nights of supercross in UK history! The date is November 26/27, the venue is Belfast's Odyssey Arena and the man behind it is Event 22's Matt Bates. "Not bad is it," reckons Matt. "I'm confident this year's International Supercross at the Odyssey boasts possibly the best indoor line-up in Europe." The event promises an exciting new format with the entry limited to 24 riders divided between two categories - MX1 and MX2. Riders compete in three races both nights with the top six overall from each class going through to a 12-man Main Event to decide the King of the Odyssey. "We're also flying out top US track designer Mark Peters who currently designs and builds the test circuits for a number of factory teams in the US," adds Matt. "His task is simple - to build a spectacular indoor arena circuit for the best riders in the world." Because the track's going to be so testing, youth races will be limited to a 65cc class on a modified circuit.
