TAKE A LOOK: Maico motocrosser
By Team TMX on 13th Jul 16
This Maico Motocrosser is a two-wheel drive bike designed by the late Dave Watts in 1980 and tested by the British Army for cross country actio
This bike was gifted to the Sammy Miller Museum Trust in 2005 and is on display in the off-road section along with over 50 other trials and Moto X bikes.
The bike is chain driven, front and rear. The 400cc engine unit works with a STD Moto X gearbox.
The bike runs well but its handling leaves a lot to be desired – especially on touch down!
