Team Green Kawasaki is expanding its UK youth squad in the coming 2015 season.
The team already have Big-wheel pilots Jed Etchells and recent Monster Cup competitor Dylan Woodcock in place, and for 2015 will add new riders in the Youth ranks
Believing he has future potential, the team are glad to welcome Joel Rizzi who will concentrate on the 85cc Small-wheel class. Joel already has national level wins under his belt, and the 11 year old from Rithin in North Wales is surely a name to watch in the months and years ahead.
Sharing Small-wheel duties with Rizzi will be the familiar face of Lewis Hall. The Team Green riders will be competing in the UK Arenacross Championship, plus the British Youth Nationals and other yet to be confirmed events.
And with the current rosta of valued sponsors staying loyal to the team, tyre partner Maxxis have increased their support for 2015 working even closer in terms of brand exposure and also tyre development.
The global tyre manufacturing giant has played a crucial role in the expansion of plans for the coming season. Together with the Team Green squad, Maxxis is expecting to make further major announcements in the near future regarding UK off-road sport.
For Ross Burridge, Kawasaki racing coordinator for the UK, these are exciting times:
”Firstly, I would like to welcome Joel to Team Green, he is a fantastic rider, and I can't wait to see how he adapts to the big stage on-board his KX85. We are moving forward next year with an even bigger emphasis on youth racing including Team Green development and trying to encourage the motocross community to be more integrated with the project.
I am pleased and excited that our sponsor partner, Maxxis tyres, are keen to be involved at an even deeper level as we stride forward. It's a fact that they are as committed as us to encourage more young people in the UK to get into the world of off-road sport and Motocross”.
