WOR EVENTS in conjunction with T+MX NEWS are very pleased to announce the T+MX FIRBANK FELL CHALLENGE XC WEEKEND.
Running on 22/23rd May 2010, The WOR Events road show will arrive in Cumbria and bring its quality brand of XC fun and racing to the Cumbrian fells.......
As normal with all WOR Events, the Saturday 22nd will see a very Popular Race Experience Day take place with open/unlimited practice followed by a fun 1 hr race with advice and tips along the way.........
Then on the Sunday 23rd a full days racing takes place catering for all ages and experience... A junior race for Auto's through to 85's will run for 1.5hrs from 10.00am....then the biggy comes @ 12 noon.......A 4hr, 2 man team event that will also cater for Iron men and a normal 2hr solo race class (with sub classes)... This format literally caters for all riders and in such a stunning area will offer the whole family a superb weekend.
TMX NEWS are the proud title sponsors of this event and will have a presence at the event giving out some free newspapers etc and covering the event with some high level press power....
Anyone is welcome to enter and come and have some off road fun..............
Situated a short bit from Junction 37 of the M6, Smack bang in the middle of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Park, The course is simply, open mountainside, with a flowing loop and ride time of around 15 minutes per lap.
With kind permission from the Westmoorland Club, WOR EVENTS will look forward to seeing some new faces and a new challenge take place ..........
