Tom’s Dun and dusted

Hot youth prospect Tom Grimshaw has signed a deal with Martin and Stephen Cooke of Dunstable Bike Centre (DBC) to race a YZ125 in 2016.
After a solid season on a BW85cc machine the 14-year-old TMX columnist is relishing the challenge of moving up and the deal has ensured his season has ended on a high after the disappointment of a knee injury sustained at the final round of the BYN series.
Tom's set-up for 2016 will be very much the same as at present and he'll be racing under the Hardcore/Apico Factory Racing banner alongside all of Tom's other major sponsors.
The final decision on which championship to contend will be made by Christmas but for now it will be all about bike time.
