Two Hands were better than one!

ALTHOUGH the area south of Bristol remained free from the deep snowfall just up the road, the alternative heavy rain could have ruined any trial at a less suitable venue than the Binegar Bottom Quarry on Sunday.

The vast extraction of Mendip rock from the old quarrying area has left a site eminently suitable for motorcycle trials, with steep rock strewn climbs, banks and wooded areas plus a good hard surfaced parking area.

Dave Ratcliffe had to battle with the elements laying out the sections on Saturday while many were enjoying the warmth and comfort of the big classic bike show a few miles away at the Shepton Mallet Showground!
