News just out is that Eli Tomac has made the move from GEICO Honda and will be join Wil Hahn on the Monster Energy Kawasaki team in 2016.

Tomac is currently recovering from double shoulder surgery that was needed after a crash at the Thunder Valley National that ended his season.

After winning the first five motos, Tomac was well on his way to his sixth before he crashed violently at the Colorado circuit, sustaining a dislocated right shoulder and a torn rotator cuff in his left.

Tomac will not be ready to race at the Monster Energy Cup this weekend, but he is expected to be fit for the Monster Energy Supercross opener in January.

Meanwhile Hahn, who missed most of 2015 due to injuries, returns for a second season with the team. He will be the team's only rider at this weekend's Monster Energy Cup.

Check out this cool video of  Eli as he prepares to make a run at the 2016 Monster Energy Supercross Championship!
