In a surprise announcement from the team behind the VMXdN and Farleigh Castle Vets MX events, the venue for their annual August Bank Holiday spectacular is shifting north – from Swindon’s iconic Foxhill Moto Parc to the legendary Hawkstone Park in the heart of Shropshire.

The event has flourished at Foxhill for the past four years, quickly becoming a staple of the British motocross calendar thanks to its high-octane blend of ’90s and ’00s nostalgia and a generous dose of hardcore race action, as some of the world’s fastest 'of-a-certain-age' motocross racers go bar-to-bar for little more than pride and pure fun.

The move to Hawkstone Park won’t change the spirit of the event. In fact, the venue is arguably better suited and better equipped to host an event of this scale. The circuit is infamous for its power-sapping black sand and iconic challenges such as the bombhole, the whoops, and the towering hill – all of which will feature during the VMXdN weekend. Whether the track will receive a full ’90s-style VMXdN makeover - complete with the whoops at their most brutal and the bombhole restored to a proper drop-in and climb-out – remains to be seen. But one thing’s certain - we’re in for some incredible racing, whatever the weather. And let’s be honest, that’s something you could never guarantee at Foxhill.

The date for the 2026 bash remains as Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30 with more details to come from the VMXdN team real soon. Stay tuned!
