Pro riders Rui Gonalves and Jonathan Barragan are onboard for the next Honda Xtreme Academy, which will be at the Doon track, Southern Ireland on the 9th of July 2011.

Rev Racing's Mark Reville, runs the training school and has years of experience working with young riders. He'll have alongside him two GP stars as instructors for the day.

Gonçalves from Portugal is Honda's highest placed rider in a World Championship and is now in his second year with the factory Honda World Motocross squad with which he's had a number of podium finishes in the MX1 class. Gonçalves brings his years experience and complements it with a superb riding style to help train the Irish riders.

LS Honda Racing rider Jonathan Barragan joins Gonçalves at the specialist training school. Barragan has won multiple national titles, and a number of Grand Prix races at MX1 level with a best result of fourth in the World.

The Honda Xtreme Academy training event forms part of the Southern championship in which CRF 150R riders receive recognition as a Honda rider, extra prizes with a separate championship points system, peer mentoring and much more. This initiative by Honda Europe has been rolled out across eight countries in Europe to help develop the next generation of riders aboard four-stroke machinery.
