Your Guide to 10 Days of Supercross at the NEC

10 days of non-stop off-road indoor festivities are being put together for the ground breaking OFF-ROAD ZONE at this year's Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter show at the NEC in Birmingham from November 27th to December 6th 2009.
The focal point of the off-road zone will be the British SupercrossChampionship track which will host the first two rounds of this year'sFuture West ACU British Supercross Championship on Saturday November28th and Saturday December 5th.
If you are going to be competing in the British SupercrossChampionships or going to the show as a fan to cheer on your favouriterider your head is probably spinning with the staggering amount ofactivities and information associated with the event. Help is at hand,we have put together an information package to help guide you throughthe when, the where and the how's of this unique event.

REGISTRATION: The ACU is handling all entries for the BritishSupercross Championships. Forms and regs can be downloaded fromfwsx.com and posted to the ACU. The ACU can alternately be contacted on01788 566400
There are opportunities for riders entered in the NEC Supercrossevents to ride additionally in two of the daily exhibitions that willbe held on the Supercross track on none-race days. Please see schedulebelow:
The classes competing for ACU British Supercross Championships this year are:
Auto, 65cc, Small wheel 85 cc, Super mini, Youth Lights, ClubmanLights, Clubman Open, Open Quad, SX 1 Pro, SX 2 Pro and British OpenPro.
EXTRA TRACK TIME AT THE NEC
In addition to the two Saturday race days, the NEC track will host 3daily Supercross exhibitions on the other eight none race days whichwill include a Pro head to head exhibition, a Pro race exhibition andtwo support class exhibitions. A limited number of riders (on a firstcome first served basis) will be accepted for all classes to be part ofthese exhibitions. All classes will have an opportunity to participateon two consecutive days. The open pro class will be included on allexhibition days.
*Please note that exhibition days are not classed as races. Nopoints or trophies will be awarded. Each class of the day will be out 3times per day between 1 pm and 6pm.

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
With a maximum of one full gate per class on exhibition days there willnot be spaces for all. With this in mind special arrangements have beenmade for optional paid practice sessions for all riders registered forrounds 1 and 2 at the NEC on each Friday before the NEC race days. Eachclass will have the opportunity to take to the track three times perevening. These practice session will start at 6pm and end at 9pm. Toparticipate in exhibition or practice sessions please contact the ACUfor cost and details.
