AMA Supercross Jeremy Martin Orlando
After five days of waiting for his fans, Jeremy Martin has now offered an injury update following his crash at Orlando Supercross.
Jeremy Martin was caught up in a brutal crash certainly the gnarliest of the night (and that's saying something considering AC's endo) when Stilez Robertson, a 250SX rookie, landed on Jeremy only moments after the first corner of the 250SX West season opener. Jeremy was knocked off his works YZ250F and driven into the dirt.
While Robertson was able to remount, Martin wasn't so lucky. The race was red-flagged and Jeremy wouldn't make it to the line when they reracked for the start.
Announcing the injury update on social media Jeremy Martin explained he had sustained a dislocated shoulder and had been working on a plan for a return to the bike. "Many of you saw the big crash I was involved in off the start in Orlando," wrote Jeremy Martin. "Unfortunately, it left me with a dislocated left shoulder.
"I got an MRI on Monday and have had some really good conversations with some good doctors about what's the best plan for my return. At this early stage, idk [I don't know] when Ill be back yet. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who reached out to me. I really appreciate the support."
Jeremy Martin's brother was also involved in a crash on the same lap in Orlando and if you missed his injury update you can catch it here.
