AMA Supercross Atlanta Justin Barcia
A concussion evaluation means Justin Barcia will miss this weekend's Monster Energy Supercross round in Atlanta, Georgia, the team has reported.
The Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing Team rider crashed while training at his compound in Florida.
Barcia underwent a medical check at the Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic (TOC) and is being evaluated for a concussion and as a precautionary measure, which means he's unable to compete at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
"The news of Justins accident this morning is a real pity, but our main concern is Justins health and recovery," said Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing team manager Jim Perry. "Following the Concussion Protocol, we hope that Justin will be back to 100 per cent and cleared to participate soon."
