AMA Supercross Ken Roczen San Diego
Team Honda HRC has greenlit Ken Roczen for San Diego Supercross this weekend it has been confirmed. The injury to Roczen's right foot will not stop him from battling to keep hold of the red plate at Round Six.
Roczen was an injury concern for this weekend's Supercross round at Petco Park after the German ace suffered swelling to his foot after contact with Cooper Webb at Oakland Supercross the previous week. The 25-year-old was checked out on Monday and thankfully, there was no serious damage.
Therapy has helped with the swelling and pain and the team report that Kenny is "feeling great!".
Roczen has a three-point lead over KRT's Eli Tomac and both have two wins. The only other 450 rider with a win so far in 2020 is Justin Barcia (Anaheim 1) who is a further 12 points back. As for reigning champion Cooper Webb, he is in fifth place with 95 points.
