Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha's Shane McElrath came out swinging when the Eastern Regional 250 Supercross Series kicked off in Tampa, Florida, winning both his heat race and the main event in convincing fashion aboard his Matt Winters-built Yamaha YZ250F.

Swapmoto caught up with McElrath to ask him how his unexpected free weekend was, as well as how he sees the potential end of Supercross 2020 might affect him and other racers...
