Montesa has unveiled its refreshed lineup for the 2026 season, further reinforcing its commitment to quality and bold design. The new range consists of three models: Cota 4RT 301RR, Cota 4RT 260R, and 4Ride, following the discontinuation of the 301RR Race Replica version.
The Cota 4RT 301RR remains Montesa’s flagship model. For 2026, it retains its exclusive specifications, making it one of the most sought-after trial bikes on the market. The standout update is a striking new colour scheme in turquoise, magenta, and white – bringing a fresh, modern, and distinctive look to the world of trial.
The model continues to deliver competition-level performance, thanks to its powerful 298cc engine derived from the Trial2 World Championship bike. It features high-end components such as a machined fork triple clamp, aluminium frame and muffler, high-performance wave brakes, and carbon fibre protectors.
Aimed at a broader spectrum of users – from racing enthusiasts to amateurs – the Cota 4RT 260R keeps the same technical specs as the previous version. It remains a perfectly balanced trial bike, sharing many premium components with the 301RR, including Showa suspension, an aluminium frame and muffler, and a competition-inspired design.
For 2026, it receives a new livery that aligns with the 301RR but in a more classic colour palette that stays true to Montesa’s DNA – red, black, and white. This combination reinforces its racing spirit with a touch of elegance.
The 4Ride, Montesa’s most versatile model designed for adventure trial, takes a big step forward in its 2026 iteration. Like the rest of the lineup, it now complies with Euro5+ regulations thanks to a new exhaust system and an aluminium muffler shared with the Cota models.
Another key improvement is the adoption of the Cota's side stand as standard, enhancing convenience—especially for recreational and off-road riders. Visually, the 4Ride now sports a new black-and-white design with golden accents and gold anodized rims, giving it a refined and exclusive look.
These updates make the 4Ride an even more complete and versatile option—ideal for off-road adventures or for those taking their first steps into trial riding with a bike that is comfortable, durable, and unmistakably Montesa.
All Montesa models are manufactured exclusively at the Montesa Honda factory in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda (Barcelona, Spain), where every step of the production process is carried out in-house—from engine assembly and plastic injection to the fabrication of the aluminium frame, fuel tank, and swingarm. This integrated approach ensures top-tier quality and reliability.
A new range of accessories designed for the Cota and 4Ride models is now available at Montesa dealerships. The collection includes mats, a paddock stand, seats, and a protective cover — all featuring an exclusive red and black design that captures the unmistakable racing spirit and style of the brand.
This initial lineup will soon be expanded with new options, offering Montesa riders even more ways to personalize and care for their bike.
