Bou beaten at last as Raga pounces
ADAM Raga pulled-off one of the great wins of his career last Friday night when he brought to an end Toni Bou's incredible run of 28 consecutive X-Trial victories in Pau, France, scene of the third round of the 2015 series.
And Bou was the first to congratulate a shocked Raga who, amazingly, picked up his first X-Trial win since 2008.
It was also a fantastic victory for the Gas Gas factory as they fight to get through their business troubles.
The arena in Pau, a town in south west France in the foothills of the Pyrenees, 30 miles from the Spanish border, was the scene of the upset.
And the trial, run by the respected French promoter Bernard Estripeau, comprised just five sections which were – in typical Estripeau style – well presented and very technical hazards.
