Beta.uk.com rider Jack Sheppard nailed his first RT Keedwell British Trials Championship round victory yesterday (Sunday August 28) in the John Hardaker National at Glaisdale on the north Yorkshire moors.

Jack, from the flatlands of Ipswich, East Anglia, delivered a fantastic last lap of just two marks to take the 209 Championship points and to deliver the first defeat to defending British Champ and Vertigo factory rider James Danill who was unbeaten through the first seven rounds. Dibs maintains a healthy Campionship lead.

There was also a first podium for Cornish teenager Toby Martyn on the RCM BetaUK machine.

Richard Sadler kept the Beta flag flying taking Expert class victory while local Jack Peace remains unbeaten in Youth A.
