Vertigo factory ace James Dabill won last Saturday's Scott Trial posting best score on observation, 32, and dropping just 11 marks on time to win on 43 marks, ten ahead of Gas Gas UK star Michael Brown with Beta's Guy Kendrew a popular third.
Local hero Jonathan Richardson set Standard Time in just over five hours but 78 on onservation saw Jono finish sixth overall behind last year's winner Ian Austermuhle in fourth and Jack Price a fighting fifth.
A total of 88 riders from 200 starters were classified as official finishers in the classic time and observation event staged on the Yorkshire moors near Reeth over approximately 80 miles and 80 sections.
