John Shirt Jnr boosts Talon ACU Trial GB series with sponsorship package

One of trials most prolific backers, John Shirt Jnr, has stepped up his support of motorcycle trials in the UK to an even higher level. The Buxton-based off-road super dealer has agreed terms with Talon ACU Trial GB series manager Barry Huskinson for John Shirt Motorcycles along with the Trial and Enduro Direct (www.trialendurodirect.com) and S3 brands to back the blue riband series – the official ACU British Motorcycle Trials Championship for 2024.
Shirty, requires little introduction to trials and enduro enthusiasts as JSM was the GASGAS importer for a spell of 32 years. During that time, he has pumped massive amounts of sponsorship into the sport and continues to do so, running Team JSM GASGAS as well as backing Beta, TRRS and OSET riders in various disciplines.
The new deal with the Talon ACU Trial GB series will see JSM, TED and S3 become associate partners of the championship. “I’m really pleased and proud to be supporting the ACU Trial GB Championship for 2024,” said John from his base in Buxton. “The series is the pinnacle of our sport in the UK and long may it continue.”
Series Manager Barry Huskinson is equally excited. “I am delighted to have been able to put together a package that excites John and supports the work he and his team are doing to run their dealership, online retail business and support their customers of S3 products,” he said.
The Talon ACU Trial GB series starts on April 21 at Po House in Cumbria with four subsequent rounds following throughout the summer. For more info hit up www.acutrialgb.org.uk.
