The Mid Wales Centre is celebrating its 75th Anniversary in 2025 and to celebrate is organising a festival of trials incorporating the fourth and fifth rounds of the TRS British Sidecar Trials Championship under the banner of the Welsh Trophy Trial. It has been some time since a sidecar trial has been run in the Mid Wales Centre and they are hoping for a bumper entry.

To support the sidecars on Saturday, a solo support class in the shape of a Ladies day for any women and girls (from C class upwards) wanting to ride the sidecar sections to enjoy a trial competing amongst themselves. This coincides with celebrating 25 years since the first British Ladies Trials Championship which was held nearby, just outside Rhayader.

Sunday, sees a support class for Pre-65 solos and Pre 70 sidecars, again using the various routes of the sidecar championship. The organisers look forward to ‘some proper bikes’ to take up the Sunday challenge like Ariels, Triumphs, BSAs and AJS etc.

An exciting new venue, at the Saintswell MotoX & Enduro Centre, is being used for this event which has hard standing, toilets and catering. Saturday’s event starts at 1pm to allow riders the chance to travel down on the morning.  Entries will be open on Sport80 soon and European competitors are welcomed if they would like a weekend in the heart of the Welsh countryside.
