Readers Rides: Willie Stewart’s Triumph Cub
By John Dickinson on 14th Feb 19
This immaculate Triumph Cub trials bike was built by Scot Willie Stewart and was, believe it or not, ridden by Les Winthrop in the Scottish Two Day Pre-65 Trial.
We found it hard to believe because who would want to risk even scratching the beautiful polished aluminium or the deep, shiny paintwork!? Veteran Les finished a fine 17th overall from the 200 starters.
This is just a taster of the shiny bikes expected to be displayed at the Classic Dirt Bike Show at Telford this weekend. And TMX will be showing them off in next weeks paper...!
